Cartes Carlton est une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de cartes de souhaits centenaire, fond\u00e9e en 1920 \u00e0 Toronto, en Ontario, dont l'objectif est d'aider les Canadiens et les Canadiennes \u00e0 \u00e9tablir des liens significatifs et \u00e0 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les moments sp\u00e9ciaux de la vie. Les ann\u00e9es 1920<\/h3>\n\n\n

Cartes Carlton a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 1920 par Harry Harshman sur Spadina Avenue pr\u00e8s de Dundas Street dans le centre-ville de Toronto, en Ontario. L'entreprise se d\u00e9veloppe rapidement, en 1923, Cartes Carlton a besoin de plus d'espace et d\u00e9m\u00e9nage dans de nouveaux locaux \u00e0 l'angle de Richmond et Peter Street \u00e0 Toronto, Ontario.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

En 1964, Cartes Carlton s'agrandit \u00e0 nouveau et s'installe dans un nouveau si\u00e8ge social dot\u00e9 de presses d'impression ultramodernes au 1460, Queensway \u00e0 Toronto, ON. <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Les ann\u00e9es 1970<\/h3>\n\n\n

Cartes Carlton s'impose comme un concurrent redoutable dans l'industrie des expressions sociales et surpasse Hallmark en tant que leader du march\u00e9 au Canada. Cartes Carlton ach\u00e8te RLK Industries en 1979 et change son nom pour Plus Mark, qui devient le premier fournisseur canadien d'emballages de No\u00ebl et de cartes en bo\u00eete.             <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Les ann\u00e9es 1980<\/h3>\n\n\n

En 1982, Cartes Carlton acquiert RustCraft Canada et renforce sa position de leader du march\u00e9 au Canada. En 1989, Cartes Carlton lance sa premi\u00e8re marque en langue fran\u00e7aise, con\u00e7ue sp\u00e9cifiquement pour les Canadiens fran\u00e7ais, appel\u00e9e \"Entre Nous\". Des \u00e9crivains du Qu\u00e9bec se joignent \u00e0 l'\u00e9quipe de cr\u00e9ation de Cartes Carlton pour donner \u00e0 la ligne de cartes de souhaits une voix authentiquement canadienne-fran\u00e7aise.   <\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Les ann\u00e9es 1990<\/h3>\n\n\n

En 1994, Cartes Carlton met en \u0153uvre sa strat\u00e9gie nord-am\u00e9ricaine avec sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e8re, American Greetings, afin de rationaliser et d'int\u00e9grer la production en Am\u00e9rique du Nord. Cinq ans plus tard, la strat\u00e9gie s'\u00e9tend aux op\u00e9rations de fabrication, de traitement des commandes et de distribution, offrant \u00e0 ses partenaires d\u00e9taillants un meilleur service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le et une livraison directe des produits en magasin dans toute l'Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Les ann\u00e9es 2000<\/h3>\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s 88 ans \u00e0 Toronto, le 2 juin 2008, Cartes Carlton d\u00e9m\u00e9nage dans de nouveaux locaux au 1820, Matheson Blvd \u00e0 Mississauga, Ontario. Les nouveaux bureaux ultramodernes de 38 000 pieds carr\u00e9s sont dot\u00e9s de plafonds ouverts et d'\u00e9clats de couleurs vives - le cadre parfait pour que le num\u00e9ro 1 canadien des cartes de souhaits puisse collaborer et se concentrer sur une croissance continue. De plus, en 2008, American Greetings fait l'acquisition de Recycled Paper Greetings, une marque d'humour de premier plan ax\u00e9e sur l'environnement. L'ann\u00e9e suivante, American Greetings fait \u00e9galement l'acquisition de Papyrus, un leader dans le domaine des cartes de souhaits de luxe, ce qui permet \u00e0 Cartes Carlton d'\u00e9largir son portefeuille de marques et d'offrir une valeur ajout\u00e9e \u00e0 ses partenaires d\u00e9taillants.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
